Zoho has added a process blueprint design capability and data AI services in 2019. Zoho’s Blueprint feature represents the merger of business-process-centric and low-code development features. Zoho Creator also provides a separate serverless function PaaS for extending Creator applications. Zoho supports multiple low-code application development languages, with support for Java, JavaScript, Xpath, and Node.js.
Already a mature and fully featured low-coding platform with a substantial user base, Zoho has a reputation of doing active R&D. Zoho’s roadmap is considered by industry experts to be extensive compared with other vendors. As such Zoho is planning to add RPA, more collaborative development features, a test automation suite, and AI-augmented application development support. It also plans to add the necessary governance abilities to establish developer guardrails to administer fusion teams.
